The Kozelsky volcano
The Kozelsky volcano is a part of the Avachinsky-Koryaksky volcano
group and is located 25 kilometers westwards of the Pacific coast.
The absolute height of its peak is 2190 m.
There have been found grains of the rarest and hardest mineral
- black diamond (carbonado). This unique formation may be met in
some areas of the world and in small proportion.
The program suggested for the well physically trained tourist group
is easy fulfilled within a day. As to the groups which are not trained
so good, or at the group's desire the program may be divided into
2 days, or into 3 days with spending the night in tents in the camp
at the foot of the volcano.
The height of the camp is 850 m above the sea level. If you choose
the final variant all the tourists must have individual sleeping-bags,
and in all other cases - warm clothes, hats and gloves as well as
shoes for making ascents.
