Mountain Olkhovaya
 The
route has been worked out to pass along the slopes of the
Alexeyevsky Range. Its peak, the 1669-meter high Mt. Olkhovaya
ranks among the most picturesque in the southern Primorye.
There are two unique lakes in the proximity of the mountain
top. A fair-weather visibility of up to 100 km enables one
to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of the area, which
is home to the Ussuri tiger, brown and Himalayan black bears,
wild boar and deer, the area of the wide variety of flora
one can only come across in the Ussuri taiga.
Four days tour begins with the overnight stay at the base
camp "Gostiny Dvor", with Russian steam bath and
exotic dinner.
Next day - 15 kilometers of the walk along the Alexeyevka
River and ascent to the Mt. Olkhovaya. Consequent days are
devoted to the exploring the surrounding area, photo- and
video-shooting, enjoying the views of unique Alexeyevsky lakes.
Next day' return along the picturesque valley of Alexeyevka
River, with fishing and alfresco lunch on the bank.
