During this tour you will visit the most southern
island in Russia island of Phurugelma, on which the largest
in the world colonies of slaty-backed gulls and Ussuri cormorants
are settled.
On this island you still can find a powerful quadruple turret
(it is the only coastal turret on the Primorsky territory
that was used during military actions in the years of the
Second World War).
Under-water vertical rock walls are fully covered with mussel
druses, actinia fields, starfishes, sea urchins and many other
sea inhabitants. This place is noted as one with the highest
density of sea species settlements. On the stony sea bottom
there are thickets of two-meter high kelp. The sand bottom
abounds in flat sea-urchins. There is the largest gathering
in this reserve of Japanese scallop near the island of Phurugelma.
Here you can often encounter the tropical newcomers: blue
swimmer crab, trumpet fish, sargassum fish and others. On
small ice ramparts near the island there are breeding-grounds
of largha seals.
The objects to be shown in the far eastern sea reserve are
geological, archaeological and historical monumens, under-water,
littoral and island settlements of animals and plants.
Tour program (4 days/3 nights)
First day (Friday):
8.00 departure from Vladivostok (from Lugovaya stop) by
comfortable bus;
11.00 light breakfast (buns and juice);
14.00- arrival to Kraskino; dinner in Kraskino (cafe Karavella).
Change to off-road bus. Loading luggage on the lorry.
14.00 15.00 Passage by bus to Mramornaya bay.
15.00 Passage on the boards to Pemzovaya bay.
16.00 arrival to Pemsovaya bay, place tents (by yourself);
time for rest. Walk on the coast. Sea bathe.
21.00 supper; singing and playing guitar.
Second day (Saturday):
8.00 breakfast;
09.30 14.00 walking to Kalevala bay. Cosy sand bay with
very warm water, bathe, guides stories about Sea Reserve
and its inhabitants;(road from Pemzovaya bay to Kalevala bay
goes throw marshy places).
14.00 dinner;
20.00 - supper; singing and playing guitar.
Third day(Sunday):
8.00 breakfast;
10.00 passage by cutter to Ostrovok Phalshiviy cape.
12.00 14.00 excursion about Ostrovok Phalshiviy cape (long
sandy spit, pillar rocks); fish-soup at the cordon on Ostrovok
Phalshiviy cape.
14.30 15.30 - passage by cutter to island of Phurugelma.
Two-hours excursion about
Island of Phurugelma, the most southern island in Russia.
Walking along specialized path with sightseeing. Rare plants,
bird nesting, unique coastal landscapes, wonderful transparency
of the water. Lunch at the cordon (tea, candies, biscuits).

Fourth day (Monday):
9.30 heavy breakfast;
12.30 13.00 departure by boats to Mramornaya bay;
14.00 15.00 way from Mramorniy to Kraskino (off-road bus);
15.00 departure to Vladivostok; about 20.00 arrival to
Vladivostok.
The price of tour 3600 roubles. Additional payments 1345
roubles/person (cutter VRD on the route within reserve,
rent of boats). Dinner at the cafe 150 roubles.
